You can now access your favorite yoga classes with your favorite teachers right from the comfort of your own home!
We will periodically be sending out emails with updated information regarding the online class program, so please double check that you have a valid, current email address saved to your MindBody account! Also, please check the status of your email subscriptions in Mindbody. Visit the "Notifications" settings in order to ensure that you have selected the right options to receive our "News & Promos" communications - if this option is not selected, you will not receive updates.

How does it work?
We are utilizing Zoom software to deliver our online classes but you do NOT need to purchase a Zoom account! We'll send you a secure link for each class via both email and text message - all you have to do is click on the link!
If you wish to watch the classes on your smartphone or tablet (instead of a computer), you can download the Zoom apps:
A computer is best, if possible, so you have a larger screen to watch your yoga class! We recommend using the Firefox browser to watch your classes, but you also can try to use Chrome or Internet Explorer. If you have issues with one browser, try using a different one to see if you have better luck.
-Many of our members are connecting their laptops or other devices to televisions utilizing HDMI cables (or utilizing various programs or functionalities on their smart TVs) to watch the yoga classes on a big screen! But it's okay to connect to the class with your phone! You can hear everything that's said in the class and peek at the screen when you need to!
How do I sign up for classes?
Even though you'll be using Zoom to watch the classes live,
you will still sign up for classes the same way you always have - via MindBody.
We are requiring pre-registrations for all classes at this time - unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests to join class at the last minute, due to the practicalities of utilizing internet-based technology to deliver our classes. If you do not sign up for class on MindBody, you will not receive the link for class. If you think that you are not receiving the emails with links for your classes, please check your spam/junk folder - many folks have found that our emails are going there, rather than your regular inbox.
Registration will close 30 minutes prior to class time.
You will not be able to sign up for class after that time, so please sign up early!
PLEASE NOTE: if you are a new Yoga Mandala client, you will be asked to sign a release/waiver before practicing with us, in accordance with our insurance company's requirements regarding online classes. When we see you sign up for your first class, we will email the document to you - all you have to do is fill it out and send us photos of the completed document back before your first class! Please check your spam/junk folders for emails, as our emails sometimes go there, rather than your regular inbox. Alternatively, you can email us in advance and let us know that you'd like to begin taking classes and we'll get the release right over to you for signature.
What is the online class schedule?
The class schedule will closely follow our regular in-studio class schedule, with a few exceptions. And we'll be adding in additional meditations, chair yoga classes and a few other special treat0 (check MindBody for those)!

How do I actually watch my classes?
About 30-45 minutes prior to class, you will receive an email and a text message with a link that you can utilize to watch your upcoming class, along with a unique password for that class. Please take advantage of this extra time and sign-on to your class a little earlier than normal - this will give allow plenty of time to figure out any connection issues and arrange the settings in the way that works best for you. It's best to not wait until the last minute to connect to your online class!
It's important to be sure that you have a current, valid cell phone number and email address saved to your MindBody account. If you have saved a landline phone number or an old email address that you no longer use to your account, you will not receive our messages. If you think you aren't receiving our emails with links for your classes, please check your spam/junk folders, as some of our clients are finding that our emails are going to those folders, rather than the regular e-mail inbox.
Each class will have its own, unique link, so you will not be able to reuse an old link for a new class - they are single-use.
Once you click on the link and enter the password, you'll be placed in a virtual "waiting room" and as soon as class is ready to begin, we'll admit you to the class. Place your computer or phone in a place where you can hear/see it from your mat.
What equipment do I need for classes?
The beauty of practicing in the privacy of your own home is that you can use anything you already have to enhance your practice! If you have a yoga mat and/or blocks or other yoga props, set them up wherever you plan to practice. No mat? You can use a towel or even just sit/stand on your carpet while you practice - just don't use anything too slippery.
You can use any kind of blanket that you already have instead of a fancy yoga blanket. If you do not have your own blocks, you can grab anything that you can use similarly - maybe thick books or strong shoe boxes. If you do not have a bolster, you can use a throw pillow or even roll up a simple towel or throw blanket! No strap? Just use your dog's leash or even a belt!
Be creative, improvise and use whatever you already have to supplement your practice!

How do I pay for classes?
You can utilize your existing membership to pay for your online classes or you can pay for each class individually by buying a drop-in pass each time you wish to attend class.
All class payments will be handled via MindBody, using a credit or debit card. You will be prompted to pay for your class when you sign up. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept cash or check payments at this time. If you are having any issues with your payments, just send us a message in advance of your class so that we can take care of it for you!
Your support and continued memberships while we all learn to navigate this new, uncharted territory together is appreciated more than you know! We couldn't be more grateful that so many of our members are choosing to continue as members during this time! We are working hard to ensure that you continue to receive the quality services to which you've become accustomed.
Your membership dollars ensure that our teachers have opportunities to work, even through the mandatory suspension, and that our studio community will continue to exist when we are permitted to reopen the physical studio. Your support NOW ensures that we will be able to reopen whenever that time comes.
