Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing practice that has been referred to as "yogic sleep." In fact, studies have shown that 1 hour of deep relaxation in Yoga Nidra provides the same benefits of 4 hours of regular sleep! Amazing!
Class will begin with a few minutes of gentle movement and then students carefully will be guided through a profound deeply meditative process, which comprises the majority of the class.
Participants are encouraged to bring along a small pillow and blanket to comfort and support the body while lying down during meditation. Soothing items from home can enrich the experience, but we have plenty of items available for students to borrow, as well.
